Benno believes you shouldn’t have to choose between your important cargo and travelling by bike; so the Swiss manufacturer has invented a bike that has combined the perfect blend of ride dynamics, cargo capacity and good looks.
You don’t need to live in a tardis either. The Boost E is compact enough that it can be stored like a normal bike due to its rear loading design.
You just have to look around the world to view examples of individuals who have adopted the Benno Boost E to revolutionise their transport options. The Guernsey Police have purchased a number of Boost E models, whilst the Swiss Mountain rescue team use them for reaching high altitude stations!

About the Boost E
Equipped with the top of the range Bosch Performance Line CX motor, the Benno Boost has 85Nm of torque and up to 340% pedal assistance, which simply eats up hills and makes city riding a smooth experience. The Benno Boost is also paired with the Bosch Purion head unit which allows you to easily change between eco, tour, sport and turbo modes, whilst also providing additional ride information.
The accessory options are all compatible with any generation of Benno eBike, allowing you to mix and match. Whether you need the Utility front tray with clip-on waterproof bags, or the rear passenger kit for taking friends to the pub, the Boost E has it all and more!
Cargo Carrying Capabilities
The Boost E can take up to 200kg of total weight, including up to 20kg on the optional front tray and 60kg on the multifunction rear rack. Its strong and sturdy 6061 aluminium alloy frame ensures compact stiffness throughout the bike.
Dual Battery Option
The Benno Boost comes as standard with a 500Wh PowerPack battery, providing you with up to 60 miles of range. There is also the option for a Dual Battery configuration, boosting your battery potential to 1000Wh, providing you with even more potential for riding enjoyment.
24" Wheels
The Benno Boost is equipped with study 2.6” tyres and custom 24” wheels, creating a comfortable ride, with enough softening for the bumpiest of roads. With such versatile wheels, the Boost is capable of tackling both off-road and tarmac terrains, opening the doors to an array of outdoor adventures.
Shimano Deore Gearing
The Shimano Deore, 10-speed derailleur gearing system brings enduring performance thanks to smart materials and an enhanced drivetrain stability, accommodating limitless riding journeys for you and your cargo.
Integrated Front & Rear Lights
Never worry about forgetting your bike lights or having to charge additional pieces of technology again. The Vektron S10 comes with the powerful Supernova front and rear lights that are internally charged via the Bosch PowerPack.
Two Children
With the family set-up, you can make the school run more fun! The Boost can carry up to two children on the rear rack, either using the passenger kit or two child seats, such as the Thule Yepp Maxi. Even with two children, the Boost can still carry your luggage thanks to the utility front rack which can carry up to 20kg.
Why Buy Benno?
Born in 2015 as the brainchild of Benno Baenziger, one of the founders of the Electra bike brand, Benno bikes has been at the forefront of a certain niche category of eBikes. Having witnessed how regular eBikes can offer very little utility, whilst full-size cargo eBikes are too awkward to ride daily, Benno wanted to create a range of electric bikes that mean you don’t have to choose between fun and practicality. This led to Benno creating a completely new eBike category, one that combines an awesome ride with the capability to carry significant loads, where agility meets true utility - Benno calls it Etility.
